About us
The core business of BGL Group (Barceló, Garau y Ludwig S.L) is the planning and completion of building projects in the sector of exclusive mega villas in Mallorca. We are experts in finding the perfect plot and set up the project and cost planning before even offering the plot to the client. BGL carries out the whole planning and building process with a wide range of experts. Founded in 1998 by Axel Ludwig, we count on many years of experience and expertise in the project management sector and can rely on many trustful partners. The project is of course supervised and controlled throughout the whole process by us personally and permanently from the initial planning to completion and sale of the property.
Axel Ludwig
Axel Ludwig is founder and owner at BGL Group (Barceló, Garau y Ludwig S.L). He is leading actively all the business strategies for the company with his positive spirit. As a studied engineer (University of Hildesheim in 1991) and with more than 25 years of experience in the business in Mallorca, he is an expert in planning and realising investment projects in the building sector. He combines the highly professional level of service with a lot of passion for the project. Overflowing with energy, he created the BGL Social Lounge in 2020, where he holds private events and meetings for clients and friends once in a while in a wonderful relaxed setting. His latest passion is the love for art and therefore he is becoming a private art collector as well.
Marisa González
Marisa González is shareholder at BGL Group (Barceló, Garau y Ludwig S.L) and the head of administration. Being with the company from scratch and fluently German, Spanish and English speaking, as a studied translator, she is essential for the smooth workflow in all phases of the project. Nothing would go without her – you are wonderful, Marisa! Olé!

Starting from the workers on the building site, gardeners up to the interior designers when finishing a project. It is a big joy to see projects growing from scratch and becoming reality.
